Made up of four mates from Sutton Coldfield in Birmingham, the members of Daddy Delux were stolen from wild 90’s thrashers Wasted Taste and chilled-out funkers Indica by infamous industry guru, Ged Rogers.

The band took shape in the summer of 2003 when pathetically limp bands such as Travis, Coldplay and Keane ruled the airwaves and thousands of bored and disillusioned women wandered the street. Daddy Delux became a reaction to all things bland and miserable; the saviour of womankind and thus, the concept of ‘Pimprock’ was born…

Famous acquaintances of the band include legendary rock ‘n’ rollers, ‘The Wheels’; FHM ‘High Street Honey’ Kayleigh Pearson and top 80’s chart act Rene and Renata. Lead singer Jamie le Bon has also been called a tw@t by Damon Albarn.
